It has always been indoors. I just want, as I said, the best solution. I am more on your side to have a joist hanger instead of enclosing it like that. Avoid having to wrap it in plastic during construction until the roof is in place, and it's quicker to build the walls, or am I wrong?
 
I agree with your constructor on this issue. You don't need to cast in the end of the wood; you can have a recess for it instead. Beam hangers in such a porous wall I see only as an emergency solution, but certainly not in a new construction.

It will be like in the video where they don't cast, just recess. But as said, I will cover them with plastic until I can put the roof on. It will also rest on the last layer where we cast a ring around the entire house, drill holes for all-thread that secures the wooden sill, which the roof truss then rests on and is attached to.
