Wooden scaffolding, use sparse paneling?
We have just received the keys to our newly built home, which is primed.
One of the projects this summer will be painting.
Planning to build a scaffold out of wood for this, it's about 7.5m to the ridge.
We have LOTS of lath leftover from the construction. That is, wood in dimensions 28x70.
How foolish is it to build a scaffold out of this? I know it's flimsy, but if I "double" the boards and have many standing support frames, etc., what do you think? Will I survive

Sounds a little weak. I've built a couple of stands myself in 45x95. Built as 2 H's held together with a cross of 28x70 if you know what I mean. However, I haven't built that tall. https://www.byggahus.se/forum/threads/bygga-byggstaellning.262567/#post-2307709

No, don't do it I would say!
Timber is so cheap that you shouldn't have to go down to such dimensions and risk life and health.
Save the sparse panel for something else instead: Trellises, attic interiors, bicycle sheds, chicken coops...

Yes, you are probably right. It's too flimsy to run around on. I'll build a shed out of it until we start with the garage next year, as well as some workbenches and other fun stuff
It will likely be useful both here and there.
