Foolishly, I forgot to mention that if I were to use horizontal panels on the shed, I would plan to buy the same kind that is on the house, not use lådvirke.
So if I use fjällpanel and nail directly onto the studs, they should be good enough for bracing?
Then I don't quite understand how I could put gypsum/asfaboard on the wood shed part, it must be built so that air can blow straight through to dry/ventilate the wood.
Regarding the roof, I was thinking of using a shed roof because then you can’t see the actual roofing as the back is facing dense forest. The residential house has a nice old clay tile roof so if I were to have a gable roof on the shed, I wouldn't want metal on it and would be forced to put clay tiles on that as well, which would be a bit more complicated.
