I'm in the process of fixing the window reveal and bench around the window on my upper floor in an eksjöhus kvadraten villa. Can you have a window reveal all the way around, or does the windowsill need to be made of a more durable material?
Also, should the windowsill protrude a bit more from the window compared to the reveal?
I've been to the hardware store and found a window reveal that is 17.5 wide, cut it down to 16.5 and use it as a reveal. But can I also use this as a windowsill where it protrudes 1cm longer than the reveal? Or does it look too cheap to use a reveal?
Shelving board?
I wasn't planning on spending too much money on the bench version; otherwise, I would have gone with marble or something.
