I have now renovated the porch since the old one was rotten. Now we're thinking of glazing the front, but there's old tile on a concrete slab. It should be replaced, but what is the best workflow?

1. Knock off all the tiles first and lay new ones, then place the glass panels on this?

2. Knock off the first row and pour (self-leveling compound?) to even it out, then set the glass panels? And then lay the tiles.

3. Place some wood against the concrete (pressure-treated?). And then lay the tiles.

Front porch with damaged tiles on a concrete slab, part of a renovation project. Wooden steps and door visible, with plants and trees in the background.

More suggestions are welcomed.

As mentioned ..ideas are gratefully received.

Not wood anyway, don't quite understand what you mean with the tile, if all the tile is to be replaced then you should start there, remove everything. then build up again, are you thinking of glass blocks?

Yes, all klinkler shall be replaced. But should it be done before changing the facade section?

Oh my God ...forgetting my own threads.
All the tiles are to be replaced, but sliding doors are to be installed on the front, of course.
You want it to be even, and I guess it will be a variant with a frame, so how do I best make the foundation?

Remove what needs to be removed, put up the glass wall or whatever you need, and put the tiles last?
