window removal

Hi,

First post in this awesome forum. Hope for some help. I'm going to close up a basement window, which is in a foundation made of leca with plaster. What material should I use? I don't want to remove the window, just wall it in...

Why shouldn't you take out the window? It's not good to have a window built into the wall. If you just want to cover it temporarily, you might use fiber cement boards, like Minerit, to cover it with.

Oops, I read carelessly. It sounds really strange to keep the window in the wall, of course you remove it.
