Which sealant?

Between the outer wall and an inner wall (ytong) there is a sealing compound that has dried and shrunk.

What can I improve with?
We were thinking of putting up Easy Cover.

Indoors, latex works well.

Latex is good. Definitely not silicone.

Silicone cannot be painted on and is harder to glue on. Use latex and let it dry thoroughly, it can shrink and crack quite well. Another option is a compromise, PU sealant sikaflex at connection. Does not shrink in the same way as latex/acrylic and is somewhat easier to paint over than silicone.
