I think I've seen these at K-Rauta and also at craft supplies before.
The only thing about Abret
(couldn't resist) with Abranet is that the sanding mesh never runs out! + you need to have a construction vacuum cleaner.
with hand sanding there is almost no dust flying around, if you sand calmly and deliberately most of it settles in a pile on the floor where you can sweep it upNimajneb said:
I read this thread some time ago, got hooked, and bought an Abranet. After using it quite a bit, I am even more hooked.Skalman65 said:About to fill and sand drywall seams in a renovated room, as well as an MDF window reveal.
I'm wondering which type of sander works best for these tasks: the "old" reliable orbital sander, a random orbital sander, or another type.
For the window reveal, I'm thinking of using a multi-sander—is that right?
What do you use?
So Abranet is my 100% recommendation to you.
I'm going to sand an entire upper floor soon, will be doing it all with Abranet, maybe even with a grin on my face...

Yes, that's written in "zillions" of threads here on the forum. However, I have tortured my regular vacuum cleaner quite a bit and it's still alive. The construction lamp against the hose, however, caused lifelong ailments...Elkludde said:

good suction and large container, however, you should complement with a filter bag outside the pleated filter
Biltema doesn't have such, at least not when I bought one, but Klasse has one that fits
There is one thing that abranet really sucks at, and that is sanding wallpaper seams (paper). It clogs immediately. Don't be in too much of a hurry after puttying either. If you get wet putty in the mesh, it's best to just throw the mesh away afterward.
Wallpaper seams work perfectly with abranet, but you have to wait until it's dry, which you have to do with whatever you plan to sand with, so there's no difference.
