I'm setting up a holder for a bike. I drilled and installed it with the plug that came with it. However, I noticed it was very porous, and when I tried to pull a little on the holder, it came loose (see image). I guess another plug is needed, or a bigger one. The one that came with it was maybe 4cm long and just a regular plastic plug.

How deep is the plaster layer?
You probably should have had a longer screw and plug that reached the brick layer.
