Which plug, dimension

I will be installing a stair railing and have purchased:

What size plug would you suggest? I had 1 cm plugs available and they didn't work at all (but it was worth a try ) 12 mm?

The walls are made of lightweight concrete with a thin plaster on top.

What dimension does the screw/screw stud have?

How thick is your lightweight concrete wall?

12 x 60 is needed to fit in a 10 mm screw …

Thanks for the quick answers! I probably knew it myself, but was hoping for a miracle... didn't have any 12 mm at home and planned to pull them up tonight...
