Which grout for indoor glass blocks?

Hello,

For what reason is there special glass block grout for grouting glass blocks? Or does regular tile grout work? I have so little to grout that I don't want to buy 20 kg

Regular tile grout works fine. Tile grout is suitable for slightly larger joint widths, which is appropriate for glass blocks that typically have around 10mm wide joints.

OK! I checked now and the joint width is about 5-7mm, when I used the moldings. The idea is to avoid buying a 20 kg bag for so little.

I did see that there was 5 kg klinker fog though not much cheaper than 20 kg glasblocks fog. It just feels unnecessary to throw away so much.

Under a hundred for 5 kg is probably quite hard to find, Byggmax had it for 65 kr before but it seems to have been discontinued.
