I am going to install a tiled "block" on the ceiling in a shower (planning to have a light behind it).
The block is approximately 90x15x5 cm in size. Tiled on a waterproof board. It weighs 3.2 kg.
I am planning to glue it up. So the question is:
Which adhesive should I use that can support the weight and is suitable for wet rooms?

Superfix+ usually works for most things. However, it has a slow curing time. This means you need to have something to hold the object in place and abundant mounting glue for several days before you can start using the shower again. But if it works, you'll likely have a hell of a time removing the stuff later.
Casco extremefix will do just fine.

But can't you just screw it up instead? Easier on the day you want to take it down.

Thanks for the response. It's a gypsum ceiling. It will also be glued on the short sides against the tile walls. The shower won't be used for a few months yet.
It's difficult to screw it up since the screws don't get a good hold in the wet room board. But I'm considering slotting in angle irons or something similar as a complement to the glue.
I can't see any reason why I should remove it. Maybe the day the bathroom feels outdated in 20-30 years
