Hello!
Now, after months of reading on this eminent forum, I have registered!
This spring we bought a house built in '59. It is a brick house of 100 m2 plus a basement of 85 m2. The previous owner has been very diligent. He installed geothermal heating, insulated the roof, and redone the drainage.
In connection with the kitchen renovation, he extended the kitchen by about 10 m2 + the same amount in the basement. However, he didn't finish the exterior. Our idea (also the previous owner's) is to plaster the entire facade. Today, there is only GNU (?) on the extension. How long can we leave it like that?
Must/should the entire house be additionally insulated, or is it enough with just the extension? How much more expensive is it to additionally insulate than to plaster directly on the brick?
