Planning to extend the hall and add a balcony on the front, here are before and after pictures:
House extension project with before-and-after images: original porch and a new balcony with flat metal roof.

The idea is to cover the dormer and balcony with sheet metal. From an aesthetic perspective, I would like the sheet metal to be as "smooth" as possible. But what techniques are available?

I don't know much about this, but there seems to be something called bandtäckning, and looking at how other dormers are designed, it seems to be done with something called standing seam. Is this the only option available? I guess you can't get a sheet that is about 3 meters wide and 5-6 meters long? How would you do it?
Diagram of standing seam metal roofing technique, showing a vertical joint with overlapping metal sheets, used for balcony and dormer cladding discussion.
And the other concern I have is, how should I manage the water runoff? I would really like to avoid an overhang on the roof and a gutter. Would it be enough with a vertical seam of a few cm to make the water run off to the sides? Any tips?

Fotränna you can have, bandtäckning is done in a maximum of 60cm wide metal sheets.

A foot gutter will be perfect, thank you very much!
