Do you mean EPS to level the floor beforehand?
No, I mean they might have been talking about casting with EPS concrete. It's often used on uninsulated slabs. Not great insulation, but you get a solid base with decent insulation.

Yes, EPS concrete was what one of the companies planned to pour first, then regular concrete if we want that version, otherwise a self-leveling floor as it looks now.

5CM is maybe a bit too much. Time for some self-leveling compound then. It doesn't need to be completely smooth though. An amateur can handle it...
Checked prices a bit yesterday and it turns out to be quite a lot of self-leveling compound for 5cm on 50sqm. Then the rest with platon etc. on top of that. We'll probably end up at the same prices as mechanically ventilated nivellgolv in the end.

It doesn't have to be that expensive. Logically, it should only be about half of 5 cm on average.

Why do you write such things? Do you want to start a fight or what?
That the original poster ended up in the current situation is no one's responsibility but their own. If they lacked the necessary knowledge, they could have hired professionals. The mere suggestion that friends contributed to this situation makes me angry.

Personal responsibility.

I'm too tired to respond to that without payment.
