where can I get 9,xmm masonite boards?

Sounds strange that you have 9mm masonite boards. I recall that the older masonite boards were 1/4 = approx 6mm. The largest size for masonite nowadays is 8mm.

My house is from 83 and I also have 9mm masonite that is stapled and glued.
I'm in the process of renovating the toilet/shower + storage upstairs to a toilet/shower/sauna and have just moved an interior door. I'm about to nail up a hole from the old door and am also on the hunt for a 9mm board.
Sounds like I'll be framing a bit tighter and using 3mm masonite + 6mm plasterboard and gluing the boards together firmly...

It was quite a while ago since I asked, and I can reveal that I actually got the right thickness.

The tricky part was that in their catalogs it said something different while in reality it had the right thickness.

ah sounds exciting. had almost given up finding a 9mm disc. so, where did you find it??

Some small place called Lindvedensbyggvaruhus. He ordered it from somewhere in Gothenburg, I think.

I believe it's called byggboard 10.2mm but it isn't that thick.. feels scary to order one that's on paper too thick though...

I remember I was looking for masonit that is 9.8..

I have talked to the factory, they complain that many stores claim the boards are no longer produced, but they are. The factory can refer you to places they sell to in your area. (at least they helped me)

I checked a bit with Lindvedens and got a tip about the wholesaler Jahrsten. According to their website, Beijer is listed as a distributor, so I called our local Beijer store, and lo and behold, they could get a 9.2 mm Masonite board 1200x2500 for 357:-

Otherwise, you can visit the factory and buy on-site as well, although I don't know where it is, but I've heard from others who have done it.

Masonite, it is in Rundvik between Örnsköldsvik and Umeå. The correct measurement is probably 9.6 mm, at least it was when I extended the house in 1990. I put Masonite on all interior walls. Good material.
