Age-resistant plastic from any building supply store doesn't work, does it?

It is too thin :-) I am looking for 1-2 mm for a cheap price.. I have heard that it is available at some hardware stores but I don't know where or what it's called :)

Is 1mm plastic quite thick?

May I ask what you are going to use it for?

Is it possible??
Yes, 1mm thick plastic on a roll ... Isn't it too stiff to be rolled up?

An old plastic bottle that once contained juice or windshield washer fluid is at most 1mm thick, and that plastic is quite stiff.
Sure, it depends on what kind of plastic we're talking about, but ÅB-plastic and plastic bottles etc. are PE (polyethylene?), right?

Biltema has rubber sheeting of various thicknesses.

It should be available. To be used for temporary windows. We're not talking 30m rolls here but 1-3 m2 :-)

Thin plexiglass might work?

Yes, there is a kind of soft but quite thick and strong plastic that is used as windows in boat covers and caravan awnings and such.
I wonder if you should check what boat and caravan dealers can offer?
Or an upholstery workshop, if they're not all extinct?

Yes, thin plexi would work.. But the question is if anyone has seen this at any hardware store.. Of course, it's possible to go to a glazier but they are usually never exactly cheap :)

Why not a piece of 2-3mm single glass? The glazier cuts it up in no time. Costs nada.

Too complicated to mount and it's not very durable :)

Kvibergs market in Gothenburg has plastic on a roll..., a bunch of thicknesses there... from 35:-/meter (for the thinnest) up to 80:-/meter I recall...
