I feel like an idiot but I can't find where to buy hot-dip galvanized 40mm nails like these?

Galvanized 40mm nail lying on a textured surface, used for joining 22mm boards.

Been to Byggmax, Jem&Fix, XLBygg and no one seems to have this?!

(I'm going to nail together 2 pieces of 22mm boards so I need 40mm so that the nails don't stick out. 50mm is plentiful but it won't work well...)

for a few years only 50mm and longer vfz nails have been manufactured

Anchor nails might work

It looks like a nail for a nail gun. Have you looked for those?

I have both brad nails and regular hot-dip galvanized nails in 40 mm in a box (Gunnebo), but I bought them more than 15 years ago. They should still be available.

Edit: Probably these that I bought: [link]
Hmm yeah that might have worked. It's just annoying when you need 50 of them 😅

Buy 50 and cut off one centimeter 👍

Yes maybe? This is to join two fascia boards together. I want it to be relatively separable.

Galvanized does not hold up well outdoors.

I would have used decking/panel screws, easily available. Maybe even something you already have at home.
My favorite is the double-threaded concealed ones that are like small construction screws, but I think Byggmax only has 60 mm.

Byggamx seems to have it on the website at least?

Eh, will last longer than the fascia boards anyway. In the past, it was just pure iron nails and they still hold up.

Trim the nails you have to 40mm.
