Hello, I've poured a channel under a wall I've demolished, a brick wall. It was brick all the way down to the ground. I've chipped down 10cm below the height of the concrete floor. I'm wondering how long it should dry before I can set a prop against the concrete. I have a beam at the top that I want to wedge in place to be able to weld supports under it. There is a large gate that needs to go up. I don't want people coming and going through it as it allows for a big truck to be encased, but it gives space to pinch some things that are still left there.

How often and for how long should I keep watering this pour? Covered it with plastic after pouring and also after watering. (It seems to dry so fast that it cracks otherwise).

Thanks in advance!

Exactly, I’m thinking of putting 5cm joists under the supports to not stress the concrete too much as I’ve heard that ideally a week should pass. It's a long weekend and I want to work as efficiently as possible so I can get the gate up and start working :)

Thanks again!
