I got a stack of planks thrown in when I moved here, they're taking up space in the garage and I'm wondering whether they're worth keeping for some purpose? They're sturdy pieces, 75X225mm, about 20 of them with a length of around 2.8m. I have no idea what the previous owner intended to do with them.

Is there any reason to keep these, or should I just make firewood out of them?

  • A stack of wooden planks, each about 75x225mm and 2.8m long, stored in a garage, showing edges and grain detail.
Walls were built of these in the past, standing planks. I think it is difficult to get hold of such today without a sawmill producing a larger amount. Try via Blocket. Better to give away than to burn.

Suitable for a small room, 4.5x2.8, looks nice with coarse planks that are sanded and varnished, sell it as flooring, there are many who want it that way.
