I am going to install drywall on my kitchen ceiling and have framed for a 900 width on the boards. My kitchen is 3.6 meters long (or short). Are there boards that are long enough? The longest at byggmax was 2500..
Optimera is not answering the phone and I live in the Lunda area-

with reservations for certain changes since I was on the construction sites....

the standard for regular drywall is 120X 240 or 120X 250...

Drywall and most panels should be framed on CC,60 and nothing else...
In certain cases, you start with 300mm and then 300,600,600, etc... This is done in, for example, extra strong constructions, and for instance, ceiling installations.

(The professional) The gypsum is 900mm wide and comes in lengths of 2400-3000mm as standard. You write that the length is 3.6 m, do you mean the height or? Or have you framed horizontally??

The kitchen is 3.6*3.3 and in other words terribly small. A small compensation for my small kitchen would have been if I could avoid splicing the boards. The ceiling height is 2.4...

NOTE that slaskman is talking about plastering a ceiling!
(Thought I'd point that out, MrMagic seems to have missed it.)

Why not go to the source?

The answer is simply: 3200 mm is available from all suppliers on 900 mm wide boards, but Danogips also has 3200 mm long 1200-boards

Slaskman: You also need to get the boards in... it's probably not entirely trivial to get such a long board into a room.

Yes, you can do that, but it's not right... 8-)
