What is this? Our carpenters used these to attach drywall pieces directly to the concrete/mortar wall in the hallway. I've asked around a bit but no one has seen anything like it before. Horseshoe-shaped without a head.

They're generally called "Express Spik" I would think, there are a few different suppliers.

I think "expander spik" is a more common name
