Close-up of a hand holding a section of wood trim with a pen beside it, possibly used around doors and windows against brick. A hand holding a brown triangular wooden strip against a car seat, with a pen for scale. Close-up of a hand holding a piece of wood with a ruler measuring its thickness, against a background of a car seat. Hi!

Does anyone know what this strip or the equivalent is called? It fits around exterior doors and windows, against the brick so to speak. I'm attaching a picture.. maybe it's simply custom cut?

Best regards, Oskar

Guessing door molding. Could be a variant of glazing bead.

The finished ones that are sold look different. Maybe cut on site as you said.

A piece of wooden molding, possibly door trim or glazing bead, with a simple, smooth surface, suggesting it might be custom cut. Planed wooden board, possibly used as door trim or glazing strip, with visible wood grain and smooth surface. Might be cut on site. A close-up of a wooden strip, possibly a door casing or glazing bead, with a smooth surface and cut edge. Might be custom-cut. Piece of wooden trim, possibly door casing, with a simple groove design, likely cut on site. A piece of cut wood, possibly door trim or glazing bead, with visible grain and a smooth finish.

Ok, thanks! I'll take a closer look at them, they don't seem to be very common in hardware stores anyway.

Facade cover strip, I would say, if it covers the gap between the window frame and brick facade and is slightly angled.

If you have a table saw with a tilting blade and it's not a large quantity, you can saw down the panel or something similar. Or ask a carpentry shop to do it for you.
