What is this? Anchoring?

Hello, I asked the question on Facebook and received the response that it could be some form of anchoring screw. I was also advised to ask the question here, so I'm trying.

It's from an old house where an acquaintance is removing wallpaper and under one layer they found these.

Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

That is a type of molly plug. Thorsman disc mount is called platti.
