Hello!

I am wondering if anyone can help me with what the tolerances according to AMA are for a masonry inner wall? I have a general contract but the painting contract is separate, so we will have an inspection at the handover between my painter and the general contractor responsible for the masonry. In the contract, it states that the walls must meet the requirements according to AMA/BBR and be ready for spackling at handover. I interpret this as uneven masonry/holes/chips/large gaps between the stones and grooves for electrical work must be repaired with mortar before handover. The wall should be as smooth as the tolerances in AMA require. Is this a correct interpretation?

Thank you in advance,

GUS.
