Had some trouble with my foam gun earlier, so I bought a new one.
Attached the bottle and started sealing around a window.
Only managed to seal one short side before it just started to hiss out foam in minimal length. I don't get it. Nothing could have dried up yet

Picked another foam canister and used the regular nozzle. It worked well with the new nozzle.
Didn't use it for an hour. Switched to a new nozzle. But then it didn't work. It just slightly hissed out.

What am I doing wrong?

Foam sealant and windows are usually not recommended. But it sounds like it's drying and clogging somewhere. Are you sure it's not drying in the nozzle or at the opening?

It is foam insulation intended for windows and doors.

No, it shouldn't be able to dry when I barely have any interruption when I'm sealing (thinking about the gun now).

I once bought a foam that you had to hold upside down, try

Cleaning fluid + bottle upside down.

I usually leave the "pipen" on and then switch to a new one if I don't use the whole bottle at once. Loose pipar can usually be bought for a few kronor too.

The bottle should be shaken lightly before and then held upside down.
I have used Illbruck and byggmax foam and if you wait a minute after spraying a little, it sticks together in the tube/nozzle.
Acetone works against completely new foam. Once it has dried, mechanical removal is necessary.
Plan your work, wear gloves, and work in a well-ventilated area.

Had the same problem when I was using foam sealant last week, but then realized it was too cold outside for regular foam, so I switched to winter foam and there were no problems(y):)

When using a gun, the can is upside down.

Took another foam can and used the regular nozzle. It worked well with the new nozzle.

I've encountered foam that was faulty. Whether they've been too old or frozen or something else, I don't know, but no foam came out of them. So maybe it's your cans that are the problem.
