I'd prefer epoxy glue, applied as thickly as possible.
But is it necessary to protect the edges?
If it is WBP plywood (Water-Boil-Proof), wouldn't the plywood hold up anyway?

Yes, it should be WBP but thinking over time? The boards that are there now have been outside for 25 years, and they are starting to be quite bad. But maybe it's unnecessary to do anything more after cutting?KnockOnWood said:
