Hi forum,

I might be completely off here and the problem might be a non-issue, but I want to check in so I don't do something stupid.

Now to the problem,

According to the picture, I'm supposed to make two holes for the mirror on the wall.

Floor plan showing a bathroom, electrical panel, and marked mirror location on the wall, with colored arrows indicating mirror placement concerns. Wall with two small holes marked by arrows, surrounded by a wooden frame, with various tools on a table below, including a drill and spirit level.

But as soon as I went through the plasterboard, the drill jumped in a few centimeters before hitting something that is black in color. Looking at the floor plan, you can see, for instance, that the electrical panel is in a high cabinet in the kitchen next to the wall, and on the other side, there's a bathroom. The electrical panel is not behind any drill hole but is a bit away. I'm therefore worried it could be a wire or cable, potentially. Or it's something because I have a bathroom on the other side of the wall. However, I hung up a TV on the wall facing the same bathroom, and it worked perfectly without any hitches.

The house is an LB house from '73.

Best regards
