I will lay chipboard before foam & parquet. Is it enough with construction plastic under the chipboard or am I missing something?

Why do you need chipboard flooring?

The part of the room in the picture is an extension with a concrete floor. The part that will connect with this part is currently at the same height with only joists. There I need to lay chipboard & then I have to do it here too for it to align.
