Need to divide my living room with a wall and need some tips and answers to questions.
Room dimensions: about 5.4m long and about 3.8m wide
The wall is intended to stand about 220cm from one short wall.
It should be about 60-70cm free towards the long walls, so it will only be attached to the ceiling and floor.
The floor is parquet with concrete underneath.
The idea is to build with wooden studs.
Preferably, I don't want to damage the parquet floor. The wall might stand for a maximum of 10 years and then be dismantled.
Is it possible to mount the wall without screwing into the parquet?
The idea is to have a wall-mounted TV on each side of the wall, maybe not suitable if you don't screw the wall into the ceiling and floor?
Tips and other things to consider are gratefully received.
I may not have been clear enough in my description, but feel free to ask if there's anything.
