Wall socket with an extension of 6 mm

Morning
Going to quickly spruce up a room while my wife is away on vacation. Thought of putting up a thinner plasterboard to even out, and then do what needs to be done, paint and wallpaper.

When it comes to wall sockets, do I need to think about anything there? It will stick out a bit with the new board. Just want to make sure I can get the wall sockets etc. back in place.

There are extension rings, so you get the wall sockets at the same level.
