Morning
I'm quickly going to refresh a room while my wife is away on vacation. I'm planning to put up a thinner drywall to even it out and then do what's needed, paint and wallpaper.

When it comes to wall outlets, is there anything I need to consider there? The new board will add a bit of thickness. Just thinking about how to get the wall outlets etc. back in place.

There are elevation rings that bring you back to the correct level again.

Aha. Then I'll add those to the shopping list.
Thanks

I would argue that extension rings are unnecessary for a 6 mm extension.

Just make sure that the screws holding the switches/outlets are long enough.
They probably are.
