Hello,

The yellow-painted wall is load-bearing. Why do you think they have chosen to add an additional wall?

*The idea is to cut out a section to make room for a 70cm door (currently 62cm).

  • View of a partially demolished wall in a room, with exposed bricks and a doorway being expanded to fit a 70cm door.
Perhaps one wanted to have water or electricity inside the wall instead of surface-mounted?

Insulation that withstands moisture and fire?

Is the house extended? So that the yellow one is load-bearing for the old part and the white one for the extension?

Thank you! It could be any of the answers. See attached image, what could it be? The picture is taken from the inside towards the outer wall which is constructed of brick and blåbetong.

  • Thermal imaging camera displaying temperature variation near an interior wall made of brick and blue concrete.
Here I'm shooting from the hip and guessing wildly; but is it a cellar wall? It might be mold?
