Hi, wondering what can be used on indoor walls instead of plasterboard.

Masonite, particle board, OSB.
The list can be long.

Wood paneling.

Chipboard sounds good, I'm tired of just using a bunch of plugs in the drywall.
To me, a chipboard seems more stable, right!

The problem will be that the joints crack if you only have chipboard on the wall.

d^_^b Osb or alternatively plywood is much better than particle board. When you've screwed a couple of times into the particle board, it just becomes mushy in the hole and it can't be used without plugging. Osb and plywood provide much better holes. Another solution can be to put raw wood paneling first and then gypsum board.
