Vapour Barrier/Diffusion Barrier Installed Incorrectly?
I have searched through countless threads here looking for an answer to my question, but without success.
A house built in '95, where the vapor barrier is placed as follows:
13mm plasterboard + 145mm insulation between 45x145 studs + vapor barrier 0.2mm + 45mm insulation + 9mm gnu board + 80 mm mineral wool...
This suggests that it is placed too far out in the wall? Some people I've talked to say that it was done this way before and it has worked. My ambition is to tear down the plasterboard from the inside and fix it, what are your thoughts?

By taking down the plaster with the insulation, cut down the vapor barrier. Add new insulation, apply a new vapor barrier. Frame with 45x45 and then new plasterboard.
You probably have to remove some plaster from the ceiling so you can access the vapor barrier from the ceiling and connect them.
