I will soon install a vapor barrier in our house, but I'm wondering how to proceed with the intermediate floor? The interior ceiling is not yet in place, but the floorboards on the upper floor are glued and finished...

The vapor barrier in the ceiling should connect with the vapor barrier in the outer walls, with an overlap of 20cm.

But I'm not supposed to have any vapor barrier in the ceiling of the ground floor?

Aha, missed that it was the ceiling.

How do I create an overlap between the vapor barriers of the exterior walls on different floors? I have the floor structure and chipboard in the way...

Yes, who hasn't :)

The previous threads above have just been about this and sure, it's better and more desirable with unbroken plastic between the floors, a bit difficult though to get the plastic through beams/chips as previously mentioned......

facing the same task... but haven't mounted the chipboards yet!
