Hello!

We are building a 25 sqm allotment cottage that will mostly be used during the summer months. We won't have any water plumbing, but a kitchen with a countertop fridge, countertop freezer, stove, and oven. We will have a wood stove, but when we're not there, heating from the fridge/freezer, solar gain, and possibly a heater of some kind will have to suffice. What temperature should we maintain to prevent damage to the furniture and interior?

The house is on pillars, and the construction is as follows:

Floor - 220 joists, chipboard, plank floor
Wall - Vertical panel, 22 mm horizontal battens, 22 mm vertical battens, wind barrier, 120 mm vertical joists, 45 mm horizontal joists, 12 mm plywood
Roof - 220 joists, 45 joists, plywood

The question is whether we should have a vapor barrier, or is it unnecessary since we will probably mostly be there a weekend now and then during the winter months?

Any help is appreciated!
