Hello!

We have an existing garage/storage building. It will now be extended with an additional storage room. There will be no doorway between the new and the old storage. The old storage is built in the usual way with drywall inside, vapor barrier, insulation, wind protection, and outer paneling. What I am now wondering is how I should do the vapor barrier in the new building when it connects to the old one. I think it's not so good to have a vapor barrier from the new side, the wall might become too tight? Or? Moisture problems?? It would be good if someone could give good advice on how to do it so that there are no mistakes and future moisture problems. All spaces will be kept warm, 10-20 degrees during winter.

Apparently a difficult thing this since no one has responded so far. Or do I have a short patience ?? :)

Do as usual with the vapor barrier, etc., with the walls that do not adjoin the garage. Remove the vapor barrier, etc., in the wall that adjoins the extension as it becomes like a normal interior wall.
