I recently added to the house and am thinking a bit about the vapor barrier.
The old part has its vapor barrier on the inside, and the new part will get its own. The old exterior wall suddenly becomes an interior wall. How should I handle the vapor barrier?
Should I wrap the wall so that it is covered with plastic from both sides, or should I just fold the plastic down from the ceiling in the new part a bit down the wall but not all the way?
Or is there another good solution?
