Hello,
I have just bought a summer cottage from the 1930s. At some point in history, the owner removed the beadboard and replaced it with chipboard instead. The beadboard has been stored outdoors under the house.
The question now is whether it is possible to reuse the beadboard and reinstall it in the house, or if it is ruined. I have looked at a few pieces and they do not seem to be damaged in any way.
Is there anything specific to consider? Pests? Will they crack if brought back into a warmer environment?
