I have some thoughts about installing waterborne underfloor heating on an existing concrete slab in the hallway, toilet, and a living room (floor covering will be tiles).
- The house was built in the late 70s, I have not yet taken possession and can't answer if there is insulation under the slab. (Drilling a sample will provide an answer on this)
- I've looked into LK-systems and Flooré. Anyone with experience? (Looking at low-profile systems to not steal too much height.)
- What is recommended for a moisture barrier against the slab, like icopal fonda or just a primer?

I'm happy to receive tips and ideas even if there are other threads on the subject :)

Thanks!
