Types of wood for scrubbed floor

I am going to lay a new floor in the cabin and the plan is untreated solid wood flooring that I will turn into a scrubbed floor. Should I choose pine or spruce? Anything else I need to consider?

Thanks for the reply! How old is your floor and did you buy the timber from a particular place?

The house was built in 2006. The construction company (which also had timber operations) manufactured the custom windows, the untreated spruce ceilings, and the upstairs spruce flooring. I chose a smaller, local construction company for the entire build.
