What type of concrete is preferable when you want a quick-drying concrete that is ready for tile laying quickly? I have previously used Ardex A35, but is there anything else equivalent and preferably cheaper?

Weber dry-mix 85 is probably one type, but I have no idea if it's cheaper. It costs around 150-170 SEK per bag. I only use this variant if it's absolutely necessary. It's so easy to get plastic cracks in this if you don't do it right. Plus, it's expensive too.

Root concrete? Is that the kind of concrete that is preferred for, for example, short drying time and when embedding underfloor heating pipes?

Depends entirely on what you are going to cast.

Cast a floor
A floor or a vault/slab?
If you're just going to "cast" a floor, self-leveling compound is preferred.

Well.. I'm going to do a topping of a concrete slab where I've placed pipes and reinforcement on the existing slab. I guess that topping must be at least 5cm. So filler is not an option then.

Why should the topping be done and why is it reinforced? Is it something required for the construction? Most self-leveling compounds can be applied up to 50mm in one go, otherwise, you can do it in stages. If you just need to reach a certain height, you could throw out EPS concrete and then lay the underfloor heating and cover it with the compound.

We need a bit more info to give concrete suggestions. Generally speaking, 50 mm is too thin to cast.
