Hello all builders, considering adding tongue and groove boards to the interior walls. How many of you builders choose a wood material behind the plasterboard to avoid 500 Molly plugs in the house after a few years?
The downside is that the tongue and groove boards cost quite a bit, for comparison:
Plasterboard 13 mm: 23 SEK/sqm (excl. VAT)
Tongue and groove 17 mm: 48 SEK/sqm (excl. VAT)
Tongue and groove 21 mm: 63 SEK/sqm (excl. VAT)
Does anyone have an idea of how chipboard compares in price to the above?

A solid hundred depending on your negotiation skills.
width 1200, height 2440, thickness 12.
Then it takes a little longer to install råspont than an OSB board, so it might justify a higher square meter price for the OSB board.

Yes, K-ruta sells good OSB for 119kr per sheet. It becomes 40kr per sqm. I have been offered the sheet for 150-160sqm (even in quantities of 60 pieces) so Kruta is unbeatable in this case. The reason for the good price is that they import the sheet from Germany.
I suggest you entirely focus on having something that is easy to screw into behind the drywall and forget about råspånt or particle board. Building plywood or OSB is easy to handle and fits excellently for this purpose. The extra cost I consider negligible when compared to future advantages.

The advantage of råspont is that it provides a few extra mm for screwing, but it's also a bit more work to get it in place. However, it's easier to handle individual planks when it comes to shaping around boxes, slanted ceilings, and such.
