I am in the process of planning purchases for a dropped/false ceiling that will be built using metal studs. These are intended to be attached to the walls, which consist of leca.

To keep it simple, I first thought if there was some form of "lecaskruv" that could be mounted directly into a drilled hole. Or is it better to use regular plugs and assembly screws?

Would nail plugs work? Like these:

They work perfectly

Thanks for the response!

Then I'll go with spikplugg, it seems easiest.

Lightweight concrete screw

Nail plug doesn't work in leca

Now I'm curious... I have previously used nail plugs in Leca and I think they have usually held well, but I may have been lucky. Leca isn't really ideal to fasten into.

In this case, the load will be perpendicular to the screw and no tensile force that wants to pull out the screw/nail plug.

For your purpose, it will work fully. There are certainly better alternatives, but everything must be weighed in terms of costs and needs.
