Hi
I'm planning to renovate with ceiling panels that are installed directly on the existing ceiling, which consists of plasterboard on raw boards. Like these https://www.byggmax.se/innertak-5-pack-p1026

The product states that it should be attached with drywall screws, but there are a few threads with many different opinions about fastening with either staples, nails, or drywall screws.
It would be convenient to use a nail/staple gun to save some time.

But the requirement is that it must go through both the panel and the old plasterboard to reach the raw boards. Nails are available in 50mm length, and there are drywall screws 50+mm that should also suffice. The plasterboard should only be about 13mm.. Staples are only a max of 40mm, maybe that's enough?

What would you go with?
