Tips on filling this hole in the wall

I have a hole in a wall at home. I have absolutely zero experience and knowledge when it comes to masonry and filling holes. Is this something I can do myself, or should I call in a professional?

Glue a drywall sheet and mess around with some putty and paint, done!

You'll have to fix the electricity before you seal it up. And maybe insulate around the pipe.
