Changing the facade on an old 1800s house. The foundation sticks out in some places a bit too much for the new panel to extend beyond. Previously, there was a solbänk (also known as a tabrettlist apparently) that solved this.
I'm now considering installing one again, even though I'd prefer not to... I'm a bit skeptical about how to make this look nice. A 6-meter long thick plank that needs to be miter cut to fit around a corner that's hardly exactly 90 degrees on this old house... Are there any tips about this, I wonder?
At first, I was considering setting a 90mm thick piece of wood that is bevel cut. But even here, it becomes problematic since it can't be cut with a miter saw...
There are alternative profiles, but I don't want one with too much "krimskrams" and prefer a fairly sleek design...
