Hello!
My family and I are building a new house, and we've now reached the sheet installation phase for the upper floor! I'm planning to sheet the outer walls with OSB all the way before erecting the interior walls.
We don’t want to install trim around the windows inside the house; instead, we want the plasterboard to continue into the window recess.
In the absence of a better picture, I'm attaching one that shows what it looks like right now. The horizontal battens are 28x70. My question is what I should use for lining, and how I should handle the OSB board against the recess itself. I’m thinking I want to bring the OSB forward so that I end up level with the lining in the window recess, allowing me to plaster the walls + recesses afterward. As for the window sill, I’m considering using something other than plasterboard, maybe MDF, or possibly casting them in concrete, still undecided!
For example, can I line with 15 mm plywood strips in the recess and then let the OSB go past the battens, but then level with the plywood, i.e., 15 mm into the window all around?
I realize now as I try to explain, that my description of the issue might be lacking, but I hope someone can understand what I mean!

You can use plyfa if you want, but you might as well take two layers of plasterboard directly on the stud. First test with what you decide on so it fits well with the window frame and you don't have too much or too little left of it.
Yes, that sounds like a reasonable option, but I think it's easier/faster with plyfa that is cut to the right width (the depth of the reveal + 28 mm) with the plunge saw? At the same time, it should work well to put drywall, and let it extend a few cm extra, and then press an OSB against the stud and the drywall, and then cut the drywall to the right depth. Then repeat with the next layer of drywall.
Thanks for the response!
