a tip is to take unmixed primer in some form of syringe and drill into the joint and inject it, no load for at least a day

I have a primer that I used before applying the waterproofing in the bathroom, is that what you mean Nino?

but with this expanding foam, how do you manage to get it into a small cavity? It "grows" fast.

I usually open a hole when there's a void. Then connect the void to the hole with a bent metal rod so that the foam sealant hose goes through the hole and reaches the void. Apply carefully so that the entire void is covered. The hole can ideally be larger than the hose so that air and excess foam can escape. Overfilling can cause tiles or ceramics to crack.

Yes, preferably undiluted. I don't know how it is with all primers, but P51 is excellent for gluing, at least.

Just wanted to follow up on my thread. I finally got hold of a tube of "fix a floor" and can actually report that it worked! I drilled two holes around the tile in the joint and filled the void under three tiles. The void is gone and therefore no more "empty" sound when walking on these, great.

Fix-A-Floor" adhesive tube used for repairing loose tile, marble, stone, and wood flooring by filling voids and eliminating hollow sounds.

Hi, out of curiosity, I have to ask if it is still good without boom sound?
